'Re-imagining dundee Clinical Skills'
Working with Dundee Medical School to find a design solution to their Clinical Skills area within Ninewells Hospital.
Brief: Learn about the users needs for the space and propose a new functional design.
outcome: Hosted a series of workshops and interviews with the various user groups, mapped out the user journeys, created personas, researched functional spaces, worked with the users to find a practical and visually pleasing solution. The process involved a lot of sketching, model making, prototyping, 3D modelling, interviews, research and a final proposal book and presentation board.
SKETCHING + Model making
Conceptual sketches of the existing space and initial ideas based on user feedback. Initial model making of the spatial flow and user needs.
WORKSHOPS
Hosting various workshops with different user groups. Using different design thinking methods to relax the participants and get their creative juices flowing. Mapping pain points, locating opportunities and connecting users with overlapping needs.
